Minze Style Select Shop: A Fusion of Fashion and Architecture

HE HUAWU's Award-Winning Retail Store Design Inspired by Urban Nature

The inspiration for the Minze Style Select Shop came from the recollections of the park that previously existed on the site. The design is not only functional but also serves as a record of the continuation and changes in the urban environment. The interior space is designed to present the charm of primitive and wild nature, with steel cladding used to bring out a sense of reality.

HE HUAWU has made full use of the flexible nature of the "arch" in the design. The arches are connected with the first and second floors, creating different spaces and experiences for customers. This design approach has helped to avoid similar experiences in the retail space, arousing customers' curiosity and providing them with a unique shopping experience.

The Minze Style Select Shop covers an area of 1,200 square meters. The major materials used in the design include plain cement, steel plate, and metal mesh. The project started in March 2016 in Fuzhou and was completed in March 2017. It was officially released in April 2017.

The design team, which included Renyu Liu, faced several challenges during the design process. They aimed to change the conventional "arch" to achieve a breakthrough in homogeneous and inflexible modern spaces. Their goal was to create a natural power that could be turned into spatial orders. The team also adopted a modular design approach to meet the retail demand, providing various brand functions with maximum flexibility.

HE HUAWU's design for the Minze Style Select Shop is a perfect example of how architecture and design can be used to enhance the retail experience. It is a testament to the designer's creativity, innovation, and commitment to creating unique spaces that reflect the changing urban environment.
